Toyota Innova Crysta facelift and exterior bodywork enquiries

An Innova Crysta exterior upgrade should begin with a precise list of the changes you want. CarTech Hub assesses facelift, body-kit, trim renewal and refinishing enquiries against the Crysta’s manufacture year, variant and existing equipment before any work is agreed.

A NEW LOOK.
THE SAME VEHICLE.

“Old-to-new” describes exterior styling. Your original manufacture year, chassis/VIN and registered identity stay the same. An exterior upgrade does not add a newer generation’s engineering or safety features.

A CLEAR PLAN BEFORE PARTS

Conversion options to assess

Select Innova Crysta as the original vehicle and include its manufacture year and variant. Photograph the current grille, bumpers, lamps and affected side or rear areas. Mention previous repairs and non-original accessories. If the target image shows a different Innova family member, identify it as a separate reference rather than assuming its parts suit the Crysta.

01

Front appearance and trim

Discuss the proposed grille, bumper cover and surrounding pieces together. The assessment should identify the correct application and every supporting fitting needed for an accepted change.

02

Rear and side detail changes

List the rear finish, side treatment or trim you want to discuss. Include access to lamps, doors, tailgate and any service points affected by the proposal.

03

Body condition and refinishing

Existing damage, paint history and panel alignment need to be considered before optional components are fitted. Ask for corrective repairs, new parts and finishing to be itemised.

04

Lighting-related work

Where a lamp upgrade is proposed, provide the original and replacement details. It is a separately assessed part of the enquiry, including required functions and electrical compatibility.

COMPATIBILITY COMES FIRST

What we need to check

The exact model year and fitted equipment matter more than a kit’s marketing name.

  • Innova Crysta model, manufacture year and variant.
  • Complete bumper, grille, trim and lamp proposal where applicable.
  • Brackets, clips, retainers and adjoining body pieces.
  • Parking aids, cameras or other equipment fitted to affected areas.
  • Current panel condition, previous repairs and paint finish.
  • Access, alignment, operation and agreed handover checks.

Model year and generation

Enter the manufacture year and generation if known. The workshop confirms whether the proposed work is supported for your exact vehicle after assessment.

Innova Crysta — original vehicle
Use the Crysta manufacture year and variant when requesting an assessment.
Original Innova and Innova Hycross
Keep these model identities separate from the Crysta and from any desired styling reference.

Scope and practical limits

A facelift does not change the Crysta’s registered model or year, and it does not make it an Innova Hycross. No cross-model bodywork, electronic function or structural change is included merely because an exterior reference looks similar.

FROM AN IDEA TO AN AGREED JOB

Four steps. A clear scope.

CarTech Hub’s workshop is in Sawkuchi, Guwahati. If you are travelling from elsewhere in Assam or Northeast India, discuss your vehicle before arranging the journey.

  1. 01

    Share the vehicle

Give the original year, model, variant, previous body repairs and clear exterior photographs. Show us the look you want.

  2. 02

    Check the fit

Arrange an inspection of mounting points, body condition, fitted lights and equipment. Confirm parts, technical requirements and applicable approvals.

  3. 03

    Agree the scope

Review an itemised parts and labour proposal, finish expectations and any work outside the accepted scope. Timing follows the assessment and parts confirmation.

  4. 04

    Review the result

Inspect panel gaps, secure fittings, paint finish and the operation of affected equipment. Keep the work record and any required approval documents.

YOUR CAR. YOUR IDEA.

Let’s plan
the right upgrade.

Start with the vehicle you own and the look you have in mind. We’ll confirm the work that can be accepted after checking the vehicle, parts and applicable requirements.

All existing vehicle entries remain available for enquiries. A listing does not confirm a conversion kit or workshop capability for that model.

Use the original year, not the look you want.

Hello CarTech Hub, I would like a modification assessment. Vehicle: Toyota Innova Crysta Please confirm feasibility, parts, required approvals and an inspection appointment.

Supported years, parts and the accepted scope are confirmed after inspection. No kit availability is implied by this selection.

Read the relevant modification guide →You can review the WhatsApp message before sending it. Add exterior photos and a reference for your preferred look when speaking to the workshop. If you book instead, include the manufacture year, generation and desired look in the booking notes.
IDENTITY, APPROVALS & INSURANCE

Plan the work with the paperwork.

Before work starts, confirm whether the proposed changes are permitted under the Motor Vehicles Act and Central Motor Vehicles Rules, and whether registration-authority approval or an RC endorsement is required. Lighting and body changes must satisfy the applicable requirements; a fitting kit is not proof of legal approval.

Discuss any proposed alteration with your insurer. A styling upgrade is not automatically an insured repair or a cashless claim. Parts sourcing, specialist calibration and compliance documentation must be confirmed for the individual job.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your modification questions.

Clear answers about the vehicle, the intended look and the next step.

How is a Crysta facelift different from an older Innova enquiry?

The original model is different, so the assessment begins with the correct vehicle identity and components. Use the Crysta entry and supply its year and variant; the older Innova guide should not be treated as a fitment list for this car.

Can a Crysta receive an Innova Hycross-style exterior?

Describe the desired appearance for discussion, but keep the Crysta identity clear. A similar look does not establish compatible panels or make the vehicle a Hycross. The exact proposal needs a separate feasibility and compliance assessment.

Do I need a full body kit to address worn trim or paint?

Not necessarily. Identify the worn or damaged areas and request an assessment. Focused trim replacement, body repair or refinishing may be considered separately from a complete appearance package.

Can I confirm a completion date from the website?

The workshop needs to assess the vehicle, accepted work and actual parts availability first. Any completion estimate should be confirmed for that job rather than inferred from a general service page.
