Cashless authorization, claim admissibility and final approval depend on the customer’s policy terms, insurer approval, survey findings and applicable network/cashless arrangements.

Understanding your repair contribution
The following planning guidance explains a specific part of the workshop process. It does not claim special Bajaj General benefits or replace the insurer’s policy wording and claim instructions.
Ask for a line-by-line cost explanation
An estimate may contain body labour, paint, replacement parts, diagnosis and other work. Ask which lines have insurer approval and which remain under discussion. A single total cannot show where the customer’s contribution may arise.
Do not confuse zero depreciation with a zero bill
If an add-on appears on your policy schedule, ask Bajaj General what it covers for this incident and what deductions still apply. The workshop must not promise that an add-on pays every charge or eliminates every customer payment.
Keep optional work separate
A repair visit may also reveal overdue servicing or an older scratch. Record customer-requested maintenance separately from the accident estimate so it is not presented as insured damage. Approve the price and scope before that additional work begins.
Useful preparation for this enquiry
- Policy schedule with purchased add-ons
- Latest authorised estimate and any revisions
- Questions about deductibles, excluded lines or optional work
Should I approve extra servicing while the claim is open?
You may choose separate maintenance, but agree its cost independently and do not assume it is part of the insurance settlement.
Visit the official Bajaj General website. Use the insurer’s official channels for policy and claim decisions.
