Bring the complete schedule to our Sawkuchi workshop rather than only a premium receipt or a photograph of the insurer’s name. The cover section and dates provide important context for your repair enquiry.
Own-damage cover and liability-only cover serve different purposes
Kshema’s official product pages include private-car package and standalone own-damage products as well as liability-only products. Their names should not be treated as interchangeable. A liability-only policy does not, by itself, pay for repairs to the insured car; eligible own-damage cover needs to be considered for that loss.
For a cashless repair request, show the cover period, vehicle details and any selected add-ons. We can explain the workshop estimate and help provide damage records, while Kshema determines claim admissibility and applicable contributions. If there is uncertainty about a product name or coverage period, clarify it with the insurer before assuming the estimate is funded. This is especially useful when different components of the vehicle’s insurance have different dates.
Your workshop and claim steps
- Check the policy schedule. Identify the insurer, vehicle and applicable own-damage cover, then notify Kshema of the incident through an official channel.
- Arrange damage assessment. CarTech Hub prepares the proposed repair scope and supporting observations for the required inspection process.
- Confirm the cashless decision. Discuss approved items, conditions and your expected contribution before committing to repairs or customer-funded extras.
- Complete the repair records. Review the final invoice and completed work, then follow the applicable claim and delivery formalities.
What to keep ready
Keep the full policy schedule, registration certificate, driving licence, claim reference and incident account. Supply supporting documents requested for the particular loss. A receipt alone may not show the complete terms or cover selected.
Repairs planned around your vehicle
Our workshop can assess collision-related body damage, paint requirements, glass or lamp concerns and associated mechanical or electrical faults. The repair proposal is tailored to the actual vehicle. If a requested service is unrelated to the incident, we can prepare a separate estimate for the owner’s decision.
Cashless approval and your contribution
CarTech Hub offers cashless repair support through its active workshop arrangements. For each loss, the policy, assessment and insurer’s authorisation determine the repair scope and payable amount. Cashless does not necessarily mean zero customer payment: deductibles, depreciation, excluded items and separately approved extras may remain payable by you.

Frequently asked questions
Does a liability-only policy cover accident repairs to my own car?
Not by itself. Ask Kshema to confirm the own-damage cover applicable to the incident before relying on insurance to fund your vehicle’s repair.
Can a policy issued outside Assam be discussed at CarTech Hub?
Yes. Share the complete policy and vehicle details. Cashless handling at our Guwahati workshop still requires case-specific confirmation and insurer authorisation.
