Tata Nexon facelift and body-styling assessment

For a Nexon exterior enquiry, identify both the styling you want and the vehicle specification you already have. CarTech Hub reviews body, trim and finish requests in Guwahati without treating a new appearance as a change of powertrain or generation.

A NEW LOOK.
THE SAME VEHICLE.

“Old-to-new” describes exterior styling. Your original manufacture year, chassis/VIN and registered identity stay the same. An exterior upgrade does not add a newer generation’s engineering or safety features.

A CLEAR PLAN BEFORE PARTS

Nexon modification planning

Provide the manufacture year, exact variant and whether the car is a conventional Nexon or a Nexon EV. Select the matching original model in the full catalogue. Include photographs of the current front and rear and mention earlier panel repairs, fitted accessories or warning messages.

01

Front bumper and trim proposal

Explain the desired front appearance and which existing lamps and panels you want retained. Ask for the component application and supporting fittings to be established before a package is proposed.

02

Rear and cladding details

Review rear trim, cladding and paint as individual parts of the brief. Discuss access requirements and the existing body condition rather than assuming every visual detail can be copied from a newer reference.

03

Repair and coordinated finishing

Separate necessary damage repairs from optional styling. Agree preparation, colour and texture for the affected areas so the finished vehicle has a coherent appearance without an unclear replacement list.

COMPATIBILITY COMES FIRST

What we need to check

The exact model year and fitted equipment matter more than a kit’s marketing name.

  • Identify the original powertrain and exact variant before choosing exterior parts.
  • Review lamp functions, parking equipment and access points affected by the proposal.
  • Check mounts, supporting pieces and previous repair condition.
  • Confirm any specialist requirements independently of the general body-work enquiry.

Scope and practical limits

A newer-looking Nexon does not gain a later vehicle’s platform, safety features or factory specification.

Exterior styling does not establish high-voltage repair capability or approve parts interchange between conventional and electric models.

FROM AN IDEA TO AN AGREED JOB

Four steps. A clear scope.

CarTech Hub’s workshop is in Sawkuchi, Guwahati. If you are travelling from elsewhere in Assam or Northeast India, discuss your vehicle before arranging the journey.

  1. 01

    Share the vehicle

Give the original year, model, variant, previous body repairs and clear exterior photographs. Show us the look you want.

  2. 02

    Check the fit

Arrange an inspection of mounting points, body condition, fitted lights and equipment. Confirm parts, technical requirements and applicable approvals.

  3. 03

    Agree the scope

Review an itemised parts and labour proposal, finish expectations and any work outside the accepted scope. Timing follows the assessment and parts confirmation.

  4. 04

    Review the result

Inspect panel gaps, secure fittings, paint finish and the operation of affected equipment. Keep the work record and any required approval documents.

YOUR CAR. YOUR IDEA.

Let’s plan
the right upgrade.

Start with the vehicle you own and the look you have in mind. We’ll confirm the work that can be accepted after checking the vehicle, parts and applicable requirements.

All existing vehicle entries remain available for enquiries. A listing does not confirm a conversion kit or workshop capability for that model.

Use the original year, not the look you want.

Hello CarTech Hub, I would like a modification assessment. Vehicle: Tata Nexon Please confirm feasibility, parts, required approvals and an inspection appointment.

Supported years, parts and the accepted scope are confirmed after inspection. No kit availability is implied by this selection.

Read the relevant modification guide →You can review the WhatsApp message before sending it. Add exterior photos and a reference for your preferred look when speaking to the workshop. If you book instead, include the manufacture year, generation and desired look in the booking notes.
IDENTITY, APPROVALS & INSURANCE

Plan the work with the paperwork.

Before work starts, confirm whether the proposed changes are permitted under the Motor Vehicles Act and Central Motor Vehicles Rules, and whether registration-authority approval or an RC endorsement is required. Lighting and body changes must satisfy the applicable requirements; a fitting kit is not proof of legal approval.

Discuss any proposed alteration with your insurer. A styling upgrade is not automatically an insured repair or a cashless claim. Parts sourcing, specialist calibration and compliance documentation must be confirmed for the individual job.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your modification questions.

Clear answers about the vehicle, the intended look and the next step.

Can Nexon EV styling be used on a conventional Nexon?

It can be used to communicate a desired appearance, but the exact parts and original vehicle need assessment. Do not assume interchangeability or describe cosmetic work as an EV conversion.

Does a new-looking front include newer vehicle technology?

No. Appearance does not establish additional sensors, assistance features or other equipment. Only explicitly assessed and accepted work belongs in the proposal.

Can cladding and paint be refreshed without a full conversion?

Ask for a targeted assessment of the affected areas. Condition, component availability and your preferred finish determine what work can be accepted.
