Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift and exterior styling

A C-Class styling enquiry should describe the appearance you want while retaining the car’s actual identity. CarTech Hub in Sawkuchi helps assess the proposed exterior components, repair needs and finishing scope before an accepted job is agreed.

A NEW LOOK.
THE SAME VEHICLE.

“Old-to-new” describes exterior styling. Your original manufacture year, chassis/VIN and registered identity stay the same. An exterior upgrade does not add a newer generation’s engineering or safety features.

A CLEAR PLAN BEFORE PARTS

C-Class modification planning

Provide the exact C-Class body style, manufacture year and variant. Include current photographs rather than relying on a badge or online kit listing. Mention existing non-original grilles, lamps, bumpers or warning messages so the assessment starts with the car as it is now.

01

Grille and front-detail enquiry

Bring a clear reference for the desired grille and bumper finish. Ask which surrounding trim and mounts are involved and whether the original lamp arrangement would be retained.

02

Body-kit and rear-trim discussion

Describe side and rear additions separately. Review their relationship to the existing exhaust layout, towing access and everyday clearance before approving a package.

03

Paint and existing-panel care

A facelift enquiry can include inspection of damaged paint, loose trim and previous repairs. Agree what is to be repaired, replaced or refinished rather than treating every visible part as a replacement item.

COMPATIBILITY COMES FIRST

What we need to check

The exact model year and fitted equipment matter more than a kit’s marketing name.

  • Identify the body and generation before discussing a shared C-Class kit name.
  • Review existing cameras, parking aids and other equipment in the affected panels.
  • Confirm lamp references, mounting and functions before any proposed lighting change.
  • Ask for a component list that includes supporting fittings and finish preparation.

Scope and practical limits

AMG-inspired styling does not make the vehicle a factory AMG model or add its mechanical specification.

A kit advertisement does not establish the workshop’s ability to perform required specialist electronic or safety-system procedures.

FROM AN IDEA TO AN AGREED JOB

Four steps. A clear scope.

CarTech Hub’s workshop is in Sawkuchi, Guwahati. If you are travelling from elsewhere in Assam or Northeast India, discuss your vehicle before arranging the journey.

  1. 01

    Share the vehicle

Give the original year, model, variant, previous body repairs and clear exterior photographs. Show us the look you want.

  2. 02

    Check the fit

Arrange an inspection of mounting points, body condition, fitted lights and equipment. Confirm parts, technical requirements and applicable approvals.

  3. 03

    Agree the scope

Review an itemised parts and labour proposal, finish expectations and any work outside the accepted scope. Timing follows the assessment and parts confirmation.

  4. 04

    Review the result

Inspect panel gaps, secure fittings, paint finish and the operation of affected equipment. Keep the work record and any required approval documents.

YOUR CAR. YOUR IDEA.

Let’s plan
the right upgrade.

Start with the vehicle you own and the look you have in mind. We’ll confirm the work that can be accepted after checking the vehicle, parts and applicable requirements.

All existing vehicle entries remain available for enquiries. A listing does not confirm a conversion kit or workshop capability for that model.

Use the original year, not the look you want.

Hello CarTech Hub, I would like a modification assessment. Vehicle: Mercedes-Benz C-Class Please confirm feasibility, parts, required approvals and an inspection appointment.

Supported years, parts and the accepted scope are confirmed after inspection. No kit availability is implied by this selection.

Read the relevant modification guide →You can review the WhatsApp message before sending it. Add exterior photos and a reference for your preferred look when speaking to the workshop. If you book instead, include the manufacture year, generation and desired look in the booking notes.
IDENTITY, APPROVALS & INSURANCE

Plan the work with the paperwork.

Before work starts, confirm whether the proposed changes are permitted under the Motor Vehicles Act and Central Motor Vehicles Rules, and whether registration-authority approval or an RC endorsement is required. Lighting and body changes must satisfy the applicable requirements; a fitting kit is not proof of legal approval.

Discuss any proposed alteration with your insurer. A styling upgrade is not automatically an insured repair or a cashless claim. Parts sourcing, specialist calibration and compliance documentation must be confirmed for the individual job.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your modification questions.

Clear answers about the vehicle, the intended look and the next step.

Can I request an AMG-inspired grille?

Yes, use that wording to describe the appearance enquiry. The workshop still needs to assess the original equipment, exact component and proposed mounting before confirming accepted work.

Will a different grille affect fitted equipment?

The effect depends on the vehicle and proposed part. Identify any equipment in or behind the affected area and require a suitable assessment; appearance alone cannot establish compatibility.

Can the C-Class be booked for a complete new-generation conversion?

Begin with an exterior styling assessment for the original car. No cosmetic package changes its generation or registered identity, and a complete package is not approved until the individual scope is confirmed.
