Škoda facelift and exterior modification enquiries
Škoda model names often appear across several generations, so a useful facelift enquiry starts with precise vehicle identification. CarTech Hub assesses the styling proposal, body condition and supporting work before agreeing any exterior upgrade.

A NEW LOOK. THE SAME VEHICLE.
“Old-to-new” describes exterior styling. Your original manufacture year, chassis/VIN and registered identity stay the same. An exterior upgrade does not add a newer generation’s engineering or safety features.
A CLEAR PLAN BEFORE PARTS
Exterior work to discuss with CarTech Hub
Give the model, manufacture year and generation where known. The existing directory distinguishes older Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq entries; use those distinctions when providing details. Include the body style, variant and current lamp or parking-aid arrangement.
01
Generation-specific styling discussion
Identify the grille, bumper or trim features you want from the reference look. The workshop reviews the proposed components against the original vehicle instead of treating the model name as a fitment guarantee.
02
Panel and finish correction
Discuss earlier repairs, poor panel alignment or worn finishes separately from optional changes. A clear condition assessment supports a more useful estimate.
03
Lighting and equipped-panel changes
Provide details for proposed lamps or panels that carry fitted equipment. Their functions and any specialist dependency must be included in the decision to accept the work.
COMPATIBILITY COMES FIRST
What the assessment needs to establish
The exact model year and fitted equipment matter more than a kit’s marketing name.
The correct Škoda model and generation.
Body style, variant and existing exterior equipment.
A complete proposed parts list with intended fitment.
Mounting condition, panel fit and paint history.
Finishing and function checks for the agreed scope.
Scope and practical limits
An RS-inspired styling request is not a change to the factory model or performance specification. The same model name across generations does not establish interchangeable panels, lights or electrical systems.
KNOW YOUR EXACT MODEL
Škoda model guides
Read the relevant guide, then use the enquiry form for your actual year, generation and preferred look.
CarTech Hub’s workshop is in Sawkuchi, Guwahati. If you are travelling from elsewhere in Assam or Northeast India, discuss your vehicle before arranging the journey.
01
Share the vehicle
Give the original year, model, variant, previous body repairs and clear exterior photographs. Show us the look you want.
02
Check the fit
Arrange an inspection of mounting points, body condition, fitted lights and equipment. Confirm parts, technical requirements and applicable approvals.
03
Agree the scope
Review an itemised parts and labour proposal, finish expectations and any work outside the accepted scope. Timing follows the assessment and parts confirmation.
04
Review the result
Inspect panel gaps, secure fittings, paint finish and the operation of affected equipment. Keep the work record and any required approval documents.
YOUR CAR. YOUR IDEA.
Let’s plan the right upgrade.
Start with the vehicle you own and the look you have in mind. We’ll confirm the work that can be accepted after checking the vehicle, parts and applicable requirements.
All existing vehicle entries remain available for enquiries. A listing does not confirm a conversion kit or workshop capability for that model.
Hello CarTech Hub, I would like a modification assessment.
Vehicle: Škoda
Please confirm feasibility, parts, required approvals and an inspection appointment.
Supported years, parts and the accepted scope are confirmed after inspection. No kit availability is implied by this selection.
Read the relevant modification guide →You can review the WhatsApp message before sending it. Add exterior photos and a reference for your preferred look when speaking to the workshop. If you book instead, include the manufacture year, generation and desired look in the booking notes.
IDENTITY, APPROVALS & INSURANCE
Plan the work with the paperwork.
Before work starts, confirm whether the proposed changes are permitted under the Motor Vehicles Act and Central Motor Vehicles Rules, and whether registration-authority approval or an RC endorsement is required. Lighting and body changes must satisfy the applicable requirements; a fitting kit is not proof of legal approval.
Discuss any proposed alteration with your insurer. A styling upgrade is not automatically an insured repair or a cashless claim. Parts sourcing, specialist calibration and compliance documentation must be confirmed for the individual job.
Clear answers about the vehicle, the intended look and the next step.
Why do you need the Octavia or Superb generation?
The existing directory separates different designs under these model names. Identifying the actual vehicle lets the workshop assess relevant components and avoid choosing a kit from the name alone.
Can an RS-look upgrade be listed as an RS conversion?
Describe it as a styling enquiry for the original vehicle. An appearance change does not confer the factory RS identity or specification.
Can existing paint or panel-fit concerns be checked before styling?
Yes. Share those concerns with the enquiry so necessary condition work can be identified before optional components and refinishing are agreed.
