Plan the work with the paperwork.
Before work starts, confirm whether the proposed changes are permitted under the Motor Vehicles Act and Central Motor Vehicles Rules, and whether registration-authority approval or an RC endorsement is required. Lighting and body changes must satisfy the applicable requirements; a fitting kit is not proof of legal approval.
Discuss any proposed alteration with your insurer. A styling upgrade is not automatically an insured repair or a cashless claim. Parts sourcing, specialist calibration and compliance documentation must be confirmed for the individual job.

Can an older Duster become a new-generation Duster?
Cosmetic work cannot turn it into a factory-built new generation. A newer appearance can be a reference for assessment, but the actual vehicle identity and accepted limits must remain clear.
Can faded cladding be addressed without replacing every panel?
Ask for an inspection of the affected areas. The proposed treatment depends on the material, condition, attachment and preferred finish; replacement is not automatically the only enquiry.
What should I send before travelling from elsewhere in Assam?
Send the manufacture year, variant, current photographs and the desired appearance. Confirm that the workshop can assess the request and agree the visit before making travel arrangements.
