The new Duster needs its own service identity

Renault's new-generation Indian Duster is a different service proposition from the older Duster familiar on Assam's roads. CarTech Hub – Multi-Brand Car Workshop, Guwahati provides an independent point of contact for inspection, maintenance enquiries, compatible parts replacement and accident-repair assistance. An enquiry should identify the new-generation vehicle rather than simply say Duster service.

The 2026 Indian petrol range includes TCe100 and TCe160 turbo applications with different engine and gearbox choices. The older B0-generation Duster has separate diesel, petrol and transmission histories. This guide does not merge those vehicles into one parts list. Owners of the earlier vehicle should use the older Duster maintenance page instead.

Current engine and transmission information

Renault India's current engine page describes TCe160 as a 1.3-litre turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine, available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed wet-clutch DCT. TCe100 is described with a six-speed manual. These choices must be checked against the actual vehicle and its documents, not inferred from trim appearance or the word automatic.

Renault has also announced an E-Tech strong-hybrid powertrain. Availability and delivered vehicle specification must be confirmed from the manufacturer's latest India information; this petrol service guide does not imply that a hybrid has the same driveline or maintenance requirements. CarTech Hub does not advertise high-voltage battery, inverter or hybrid-system repairs without verified training, safety procedures and equipment.

Plan servicing around the applicable manufacturer schedule

A newly acquired car can still need useful independent inspection, but manufacturer warranty, campaigns and service conditions should be understood first. Keep the warranty booklet, owner manual, previous service record and invoices. CarTech Hub can discuss the observed condition and proposed work, while Renault should confirm any warranty-linked or recall action.

Oil type, filter application, fluid specification, quantities and replacement intervals depend on the fitted engine and transmission. The new Duster's maintenance documentation should be used rather than an old diesel Duster schedule. This article does not publish a single kilometre interval for the range. Dust exposure, repeated short trips, traffic and a planned long journey provide context for inspection, without authorising arbitrary early replacement of every consumable.

Engine diagnostics and cooling support

A warning light, irregular running or a change in acceleration requires evidence. For the TCe160 direct-injection application, fuelling and turbo-control enquiries are not treated as ordinary carburettor-style adjustments or as interchangeable work on another Renault engine. Inspection can consider stored diagnostic information, ignition components, intake and boost-related findings, oil condition and cooling observations.

Applicable parts can include spark plugs, ignition coils, injectors, engine mounts, filters, sensors, hoses, a radiator, thermostat, water pump and cooling fan. The exact application is established before an estimate. Engine overhaul, internal turbo work or complex fuel-system repairs are accepted only when the necessary capability and technical support are confirmed. A significant leak or overheating warning should be assessed before continued driving creates additional damage.

Manual and wet-DCT enquiries require separate decisions

A DCT quotation is not an older Duster CVT quotation

The new wet-clutch DCT must not be described as the same transmission as an older Duster petrol CVT or diesel AMT. Fluid choice, diagnostics and repair procedures depend on the actual gearbox. Selecting a fluid simply because the container says automatic transmission is not a sound service decision.

Owners should explain whether an engagement concern occurs when cold, manoeuvring, climbing or driving after prolonged traffic. The workshop can separate engine response, mounting or driveline observations from a transmission-control concern. Manual cars have their own clutch and gear-selection assessment. The new Duster DCT and turbo guide explains why advanced work is confirmed individually and may require manufacturer or specialist support.

Brakes, suspension and steering before travel

Brake checks consider the actual friction assemblies, discs, hydraulic parts and warning information. Pads, hoses and ABS-related components are matched to the vehicle rather than substituted from the old Duster catalogue. A brake warning, fluid leak or change in stopping behaviour needs attention before a highway trip.

For a steering pull, vibration or noise after road damage, inspection should consider tyres, wheels and the relevant suspension assembly. Struts or dampers, springs, control arms, bushes, joints and wheel bearings may be involved, but the finding determines the repair. Wheel alignment cannot correct an unsafe tyre or damaged mechanical part. ADAS, cameras or other driver-assistance equipment must be handled according to the actual fitted version and confirmed calibration capability.

AC, electronics and parts compatibility

New-generation cabin electronics and electrical architecture require careful identification. An AC enquiry should describe cooling and airflow separately. Compressor, condenser, evaporator, blower, controls and refrigerant-related work are assessed using the fitted system. Battery, charging, starting and wiring symptoms may also influence how a complaint is investigated.

For CarTech Hub's parts desk, record the VIN, engine, gearbox and damaged component. A bumper, headlamp, mirror, grille, bonnet, door or windshield from the old Duster is not assumed suitable for this vehicle. Sensors, connectors and mountings can affect fitment and repair scope. Parts availability, compatibility and delivery time will be confirmed after vehicle inspection and model verification. No immediate stock, fixed price or delivery date is promised before that assessment.

Accident inspection and insurance coordination

A new Duster collision may involve exterior damage together with cooling, suspension, wiring, restraints or driver-assistance equipment. CarTech Hub records visible damage and prepares an estimate for work within confirmed capability. Structural, restraint, calibration and high-voltage requirements are considered explicitly rather than hidden inside a generic denting-and-painting promise.

The new Duster accident-insurance guide explains the next steps: insurer intimation, policy and vehicle documents, photographs, survey where required, estimate submission and approval. Additional hidden damage may require a supplementary assessment before repair. Cashless authorisation depends on policy terms, insurer approval and confirmed workshop/network eligibility. Deductibles, non-payable items and excluded work can remain customer-payable.

A clear enquiry produces a useful next step

For maintenance, send vehicle identity, mileage and the purpose of the visit. For a fault, add the warning and circumstances. For accident damage, retain photographs and use the insurer's official notification route; the insurer directory provides verified links. Inspection, approved work and final checks should be recorded so later service discussions start from evidence.

Book new Duster service, call CarTech Hub or WhatsApp your details. Use the insurance enquiry for collision assistance, contact and directions for a workshop visit and Google Reviews to find the official business links. The Renault hub connects related guidance. CarTech Hub is an independent multi-brand workshop, not an authorised Renault service centre.

Official insurer claim channels

Choose your insurer’s official claim-intimation link. Submit policy and identity information directly through the insurer’s approved channel. Its process and cashless authorization remain subject to your policy and the assessed claim.

Quick answers

Can my old Duster maintenance schedule be used for the new one?

The new-generation petrol Duster has a different engine and transmission range. Its own manufacturer documentation and vehicle identity should determine the schedule and specifications.

Is the new Duster DCT the same as the older petrol CVT?

No. Renault describes the new TCe160 automatic as a six-speed wet-clutch DCT. The older petrol CVT is a different application with different servicing and diagnostic requirements.

Does this page advertise E-Tech battery repairs at CarTech Hub?

No. Hybrid availability and specifications must be verified separately. High-voltage or hybrid-system work is offered only after trained personnel, safety equipment and technical capability are confirmed.

How are sensors handled after new Duster bumper damage?

The fitted equipment, mountings and damage are inspected. Any required calibration or specialist safety-system work must be identified and capability confirmed before repairs are approved.
