A Gurkha inspection needs a useful account of how the vehicle has been used as well as its mileage. CarTech Hub is an independent multi-brand workshop in Sawkuchi, Guwahati. Contact the team with the model year, version and proposed work so that inspection acceptance, parts and any specialist driveline requirements can be confirmed before your visit.
Keep separate records for driveline fluids
Force’s Gurkha service information distinguishes engine, gearbox, axle and transfer-case maintenance. These are separate maintenance items; a receipt saying only “oil changed” is not a complete record of work across the driveline.
Bring the vehicle’s own manual and previous invoices. Ask which unit is being serviced, the specified fluid and the reason the work is due. Confirm the schedule applicable to your model and operating conditions rather than adopting a generic interval from another Gurkha generation. The estimate should identify each proposed fluid operation separately.
Explain recent terrain and symptoms
Tell the workshop about recent rough-road use, an underbody impact, deep mud, water exposure or a change in vibration. Note the drive mode, speed and steering position when a concern appears. Report any difficulty engaging or disengaging a mode exactly as observed; do not assume it identifies a failed component.
Ask whether the enquiry needs checks around tyres, wheels, brakes, visible leaks or damaged driveline components. Work acceptance depends on the findings and available technical facilities. This page does not promise differential repair, transfer-case overhaul or every 4WD-related procedure.
Follow the correct operating and recovery instructions
The official Gurkha FAQs describe features for the versions presented there. Use the manual supplied for your vehicle for drive-mode operation and restrictions. Do not experiment with 4WD controls to reproduce a fault in unsafe conditions.
If the vehicle is stuck, has suffered water exposure or may be unsafe to drive, arrange recovery through a suitably equipped provider. Confirm the manufacturer’s towing method and recovery points with that provider. A workshop appointment is not confirmation that on-site off-road recovery is available. Force’s roadside-assistance terms should be checked directly if you intend to use that service.
Arrange an agreed workshop visit
Send the service history and your observations before travelling to Sawkuchi. Our general service guidance helps separate maintenance from a diagnostic complaint. For accident damage, review repair assessment information and retain the insurer’s instructions before dismantling.
CarTech Hub does not claim Force manufacturer authorisation or approval of warranty work. Confirm warranty or recall matters through Force’s authorised channel, and agree the independent inspection scope, parts availability and estimate with the workshop. Keep the resulting job card with your vehicle records.
