An announcement can establish a new Bentley model without establishing an Indian delivery, a completed production specification or local workshop support. That distinction matters when an owner requests maintenance or replacement parts. This update from CarTech Hub – Multi-Brand Car Workshop, Guwahati explains the most important identification boundaries around the new Supersports, Torcal electric range and current plug-in hybrids before a vehicle-specific enquiry is made.
The new Supersports has a distinct drivetrain
Bentley's new Supersports uses a non-hybrid V8 and rear-wheel drive. It should not be assigned the hybrid powertrain or all-wheel-drive description of the contemporary Continental GT family by association. The earlier W12 Continental Supersports versions also remain separate vehicles, with their own generations, body applications and technical information.
The manufacturer describes the new car as pre-production and its programme schedules production in the fourth quarter of 2026, ahead of initial deliveries in 2027. Market eligibility needs its own check. A global appearance, order announcement or demonstration vehicle is not evidence of an Indian customer delivery or a repair job already completed at CarTech Hub.
Torcal and Torcal S introduce battery-electric ownership
Bentley's current official range presents Torcal and Torcal S as its new electric SUV family. These are battery-electric applications, not Bentayga Hybrid versions with a different name. Twin electric motors, electric-drive control and associated charging and thermal equipment require their own technical information. Engine oil, petrol fuel filters and spark plugs are not routine Torcal maintenance items.
The official range also identifies approval-dependent consumption and range information. Avoid converting a provisional global figure into a guaranteed local driving range or charging result. Verify the model year, delivered equipment, local market documentation and charging compatibility for the actual vehicle. This article does not establish Indian launch timing, immediate delivery or high-voltage repair capability.
Current hybrids remain different from those two models
The latest Continental GT, Continental GTC and Flying Spur ranges include V8 plug-in hybrid applications. High Performance Hybrid and Ultra Performance Hybrid descriptions should follow the exact version. Earlier Flying Spur V6 Hybrid cars and Bentayga Hybrid vehicles have different histories and technical details. No single hybrid battery or transmission description should be applied across all of them.
Likewise, a conventional older W12 or V8 retains its original powertrain identity. The newest brochure cannot change the engine, gearbox or suspension fitted to a car already registered in India. Confirm the existing build before choosing service information or authorising a component order.
Bentayga Speed and EWB require separate care
The newer V8 Bentayga Speed should remain distinct from the earlier W12 Speed. Standard-wheelbase Bentayga and Bentayga EWB also need the correct body and component identification. The existence of a standard-wheelbase Hybrid does not establish that a particular EWB is hybrid.
Chassis terminology introduces another possible confusion. Bentley Dynamic Ride's 48-volt active anti-roll technology is not proof of hybrid propulsion. Air springs, controlled dampers and rear-wheel steering are separate features with their own applicability. Record the fitted equipment rather than using one feature name as a summary of every system on the car.
Use the update to prepare an accurate enquiry
For a Guwahati inspection request, provide the exact model, build, generation, powertrain, drivetrain, mileage and maintenance records. Describe symptoms, warning messages, modifications and previous repairs. Check the appropriate manufacturer guidance instead of adopting a fixed service interval for every Bentley or treating a new announcement as a replacement for an owner's handbook.
Manufacturer programmes, official service-history systems, recalls and battery documentation operate under their own conditions. They are not represented as CarTech Hub services without confirmed authority and access. The workshop must agree the supported task and any specialist arrangement before booking. Accident coverage, insurer acceptance and cashless eligibility likewise require their own policy, vehicle and approval assessment.

Quick answers
Is the new V8 Supersports the same drivetrain as earlier W12 Supersports?
No. Keep the new non-hybrid rear-wheel-drive car separate from the earlier W12 generations and their actual specifications.
Does Torcal information prove Indian delivery or local high-voltage repair support?
No. Verify local market and delivered-vehicle details separately, and confirm qualified workshop capability before specialist work.
Does a current Bentley brochure replace the specification of an older car?
No. The actual build and installed equipment remain the basis for its maintenance, parts and repair information.
